Overview
Delivery of datasets (publications) including changes
A VKBO basic dataset may be tailor-made for a specific user of VKBO data: for example, all companies from municipality X, all employees from province Y or all companies operating in sector Z.
Starting from 2007 the VKBO is now producing various publications: generic files (e.g. all company changes of the day), or changes in relation to a specifically chosen basic set, filtered or otherwise on the specific customers of a data user.
Any change (change of name, moving house, change of legal status, ...) is recorded and forwarded to the data user in question.
The dataset is delivered via FTP so the ftp guidelines also have to be observed.

VKBO web-based services (web services)
Users may decide against creating and maintaining their own dataset and request data “online” instead, via so-called web-based services (web services). This means the VKBO is addressed “from application to application”. These web-based services may be seamlessly integrated into existing applications or those coming on stream.

VKBO screen application (VKBO-GO)
You may also consult the VKBO online via the VKBO screen application (VKBO-GO). The sole requirement is for an official to have a 'civil servants' token. This token may be requested via the security manager of your agency or department. Once you have logged in you may consult the following services online:
- search for a company or establishment;
- have access to all KBO data;
- RSZ (National Social Security Office) data;
- annual accounts data;
- shareholders;
- related companies (=takeovers/mergers in the business sector);
- official journal publications
